Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas has announced it is adding 12 new houseboats to its fleet that will be available for rental in spring 2006.
Six of the houseboats will be new 75-foot luxury Excursion-class houseboats, designed to complement the marinas' 75-foot Odyssey-class houseboats that were introduced in 2004. The Excursion-class houseboats sleep up to 12 and have a five out of five anchor rating, offering guests luxury amenities and specialty services, including an eight-person hot tub, two wet bars, a waterslide and a wide screen television and home theater system with surround sound and satellite tracking.
"The newest additions to Lake Powell's fleet are sure to create an unforgettable family vacation for even the most discriminating travelers," said Gib Johnson, Vice President of Operations, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas.
The Excursion will be on display at upcoming boat shows including the Phoenix Boat Show on February 1 5, the Salt Lake City Boat Show on February 8 12, the Denver RV Sports, Boat & Travel Show on March 2 5, and the Orange County Boat Show on April 6 9.
The remaining six houseboats are new 46-foot Expedition-class houseboats, featuring a three out of five anchor rating. Ideal for four to eight people, the Expedition includes amenities such as air conditioning, a DVD player, an entertainment center with a television, and a waterslide.
