A fire at a marina on Center Hill Lake Tuesday morning has destroyed a dozen boats and damaged close to another dozen more.  The blaze broke out at the Hidden Harbor Marina in DeKalb County.
DeKalb County Fire Chief Donny Green said it was a good outcome, considering there were about 300 boats in the slips at the marina.  The initial damage estimate is about a half a millions dollars.
In January of 2004, a blaze broke out at the Center Hill Lake Marina.  The quick burning fire quickly spread from boat to boat, causing more than $3 million in damage.  In the end, more than a dozen houseboats were destroyed.
