PAGE -- Lakeshore Drive will be closed today for the third straight day for road construction, the National Park Service said Wednesday.

Only houseboat launching operators will be permitted to use the section from the south entrance off Highway 89 to the four-way stop at Wahweap Boulevard.

On Friday, Wahweap Boulevard will be closed from the north entrance off Highway 89 to Lakeshore Drive from 5 a.m. to noon. That closure does not apply to houseboat launching operators. Drivers of other vehicles will be routed Friday to the south entrance of Lakeshore Drive.
