Whether you're looking to relax, recharge, unwind, or just escape the daily grind, fall is a perfect time to hit the restart button with some vacation fun.

Jim Preuter, AAA Arizona , says right now there are some great deals to be had if you like the water, "Hawaii has great weather year round, and it's the perfect place to vacation during the lower price fall season."

There are some events coming up, catch Oahu's 56th Aloha Festival Floral Parade Sept. 25, 2010 or the Coconut Festivals Oct 2-3, 2010 on Kauai and The Big Island. Five-night vacations with air start at only $616* per person.

As the fall weather rolls in, Preuter says Puerto Vallarta is the coolest place to be, and you hit the price sweet spot when you travel Nov 15 - Dec 15, 2010. 'All-inclusive resorts now rival cruise vacations as the best deal with three-night air and resort vacations starting at only $709* per person.'

The all-inclusive package at the Allegro Nuevo Vallarta, for example, includes unlimited meals, snacks and beverages, full open bar (three restaurants, two bars), limited in-room dining, chaise lounges and towel service near pool and beach areas, fitness room, kid's club with supervised activities (ages 4 to 12), two tennis courts, volleyball, ping-pong, water polo, aqua aerobics, kayaking, boogie boards, snorkeling and giant chess board, daily activities near pool and beach areas, nightly shows and entertainment as well as taxes and gratuities.

Preuter says another fall option consists of getting back to nature and kicking back on a houseboat, enjoying the lakes and waterways that provide endless recreation.

You can choose from 10 marinas and nine houseboat models, accommodating up to 12 guests. Two day, one night packages (from Aug. 17 - Oct. 15, 2010) include a 59 foot deluxe houseboat which sleeps 10 to 12, eight cases of soft drink and bottled water, five bags of ice, $75 Marina store coupon and a free final fuel fill-up of house boat. The cost of the package is $780* per day for California locations, $820* per day for Lake Mead and Lake Mohave locations.
