Marine fuels supplier ValvTect Petroleum recently presented its 2010 Marina of the Year Award to Longboat Key Club Moorings in Longboat Key, Fla. The award was announced at the International Marina and Boatyard Conference in Fort Lauderdale last month.

The ValvTect Marina of the Year Award is given annually to a ValvTect Certified Marina for outstanding operation, total commitment to customer service and environmental stewardship.

"Our marina is part of the AAA Four-Diamond Longboat Key Club Resort, which features world-class amenities such as spa, tennis and dining specially designed for serious boating enthusiasts," Dennis Matthews, director of marina operations for Longboat Key Club Moorings, said in a statement. "We are pleased to be recognized by ValvTect for the high quality, professional services we provide our guests."

Longboat Key Club Moorings is one of nearly 600 ValvTect Certified Marinas across the U.S. and the Caribbean that provide ValvTect Marine Gasoline and ValvTect Marine Diesel.
