Showcasing the latest and greatest products in the houseboat industry, tickets to the annual On Water Expo are now on sale. The three-day event kicks off at State Dock on Lake Cumberland August 26 at the popular Kentucky marina. Single day passes start at $10 and tickets include entrance to the Friday night DJ and the Saturday night band.

For three days, attendees will once again be able to look at the latest houseboats in the industry, plus check out some used versions of near-new houseboats as well. And that's not including the countless vendors and exhibitors that will also be on hand to cover your houseboating needs with products and services. Throw in a couple of seminars and an on-dock poker run and you have the blueprint for a fun-filled weekend.

"This is a great opportunity for attendees to experience houseboating as it is," Greg Larsen, Expo producer, said.

While traditional houseboat shows are indoors, the On Water Expo takes interested parties to the dock to see exactly what the houseboating lifestyle is like.

And good news for those who are planning on attending the On Water Expo: the infamous Houseboat Row is back! State Dock will once again offer "boatels" or rental houseboats. The houseboats not only provide accommodations for the duration of the Expo, but also allow you to stay close to the show and enjoy the music at night. And don't forget about those cornhole games that tend to break out each night at the dock. To reserve a boatel or find out more about State Dock at Lake Cumberland, visit www.statedock.com or call 888-STATEDOCK.
