Unless equipped with the proper tool, houseboat owners find removing fouling from shafts, pipes or other small cylindrical surfaces a difficult-if not impossible-chore. Wavecraft USA has just the answer for safe, quick and easy cleaning of these special areas with an accessory for its Waveblade handheld tool.

The Waveblade Half Round Blade features a unique crescent shape. It's perfectly suited for removing fouling and debris from shafts, anodes, hydraulic lines, PVC pipes, thru-hulls or any other small diameter structures. Like other Waveblade pieces, this blade is available in either black coated steel for dry use, or stainless steel for underwater work.

Designed to remove barnacles and other stubborn fouling, the Waveblade uses vibration to clean without harming underlying surfaces, including bottom paint.  This handheld tool requires little user effort, and works equally well on the hard or up to 15 feet underwater. It runs off 12V DC power, drawing only 3.2 amps, but can also connect to a 110V converter.

Each Waveblade starter kit comes with the Waveblade tool, a 3-inch black steel blade, a black steel flat chisel blade, extra filters, safety glasses and gloves.  Conveniently packaged in a custom carry bag, the kit retails for $399. The Half Round Blade is available in black coated steel for $19.99 and in stainless steel for $24.99. (http://www.waveblade.com//877-895-9283)
