Nearly 17 years after opening the doors of Sunstar Houseboats, George Roberts, founder and president of Sunstar, along with partners Bobby Gehring Jr. and Bobby Gehring Sr., continue to maintain the high standards they had from the outset.

Sunstar has always believed that providing clients with a quality product and dependable service after the sale would help them stay in business and it has. Since 1995, Sunstar Houseboats has produced nearly 280 houseboats, including intracoastal boats. From the moment a client decides he wants to build a boat, Roberts and the Sunstar team work to ensure that the end product is exactly what the client envisioned.
