Every year Houseboat Magazine puts on an expo for houseboating enthusiast. The expo hosts houseboat manufacturers so they can display their products and teach about houseboating.

This year’s expo will be held on June 6, 7 and 8 on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. Each year the houseboat expo is filled with fun, laughter and everyone’s favorites, houseboats.

The expo showcases many beautiful boats, both new and pre-owned. Other companies will also be there showing off their boating equipment and new technology.

During the expo, experts in their fields come and teach seminars about houseboating, new technology, and good skills. This year the famous Captain’s Course is returning. Taught by Don and Janet Hevener, owners of Dreams In Motion boat transport. They have been transporting houseboats for over 20 years. The seminar will provide important information on houseboat transportation and navigation.

And last but not least, the houseboat expo holds the best poker tournament in the world, at least in our eyes. The winner gets a brand new pontoon from Apex Marine.

The On the Water Expo is definitely not something that should be missed. It is the highlight of our year. Tickets are $10 for a one-day pass and $20 for a two-day pass. If you buy your tickets here you will receive a free “I love Houseboating” t-shirt. Otherwise tickets will be available at the expo. Hope to see you soon!
