Sunset Aboard The Potato Juice

April 2015

The glowing globe in the background draws a golden streak across the water behind this cruiser's settling wake. Christened Potato Juice as a humorous reference to his wife's love of vodka, Dan Legaspi completely renovated the interior and exterior of their cruiser, including adding a new bar on deck with custom bar stools. You can bet they have no shortage of gorgeous sunsets at Cemetery Point on Lake Cumberland, Ky.!

Fun facts about Lake Cumberland:

It's the ninth largest reservoir in the U.S.

At full capacity, this lake has enough water to put the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky under 3 inches of water.

It was voted the second best houseboating lake in the nation according to our Facebook followers, just barely beat by Dale Hollow Lake, Ky./Tenn.

The average lake temperature is at its hottest at 84 °F during the month of August.

The largest record fish caught here was a 58 pound, 4 ounce Striped bass.
