In 1996, Rod Parrish rounded up local craftsmen to create one of Kentucky’s best-built custom houseboats. Their first build rolled off the assembly line a year later and Thoroughbred Houseboats has been producing excellent custom houseboats ever since, culminating in the merger with Trifecta Ventures last year.
Often showing off the glass-sided look that has become so popular around the country, each build features an insulated glass front wall for an unbeatable view of the water, with an aim towards being the best “Glass on the Water” houseboat on the market. Anyone can appreciate how this unique technique opens up the interior of a boat.
