The devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey have been on the minds of many Americans in the past week or so, as prayers and donations have been sent their way by individuals, families, and businesses. Suntex Marina Investors, owner and operator of best-in-class marina properties, is one such company that it is providing assistance to those who have been affected by this disaster.

Through YouCaring.com, Suntex employees, members, and customers are collecting and sending donations to the relief effort, and they are also donating 10% of all Labor Day holiday weekend sales to support the cause. All those funds that are donated will be given to local Texas charities with the resources for direct assistance to those who need it most. Local Suntex marinas are also each doing their own outreach – Crosswater Yacht Club is running trailers full of items that first responders need and the Dallas-Forth Worth marinas are collecting items for local shelters and churches that are taking in residents with nowhere else to go.

The social media campaign launched the hashtag #suntexcares to coordinate efforts and support the cause.
