In the latter part of 2009, Sailabration Houseboats will celebrate its 10th anniversary. In 1999 Sailabration was formed with the idea to offer an affordable, high quality, and low maintenance houseboat. Over the past 10 years Sailabration has strived to provide the best value in the not only the houseboat industry but the boating industry as a whole.
Based in Eastern Tennessee at the head of the Tennessee River, Sailabration has grown from a small, one boat at time (maximum size 14X50) facility to a modern plant that can house as many as five boats under construction at a time.
Sailabration now offers boats to 18 feet wide and lengths of over 80 feet. In 1996 Sailabration pioneered the “In-Pontoon Solution” utilizing the pontoons to house equipment such as generators and engine equipment as well as general storage.
