Is it feasible to add a V-Bow to a houseboat with an aluminum hull?

It might help you get more replies if you could mention what you have now and what is your end goal. Do you have a pontoon boat and want to add a v-hull between pontoons to gain some storage? Do you have an existing aluminum monohull and want to make more of a V to improve tracking? Do you have a steel hull and want to replace it with aluminum? Is your goal more of a pointy end at the front for aesthetics or some other reason? There's a lot of knowledge on this board, but I think you'll need to give some of the great minds a little more to go on.

Could it be done? Yes, a good welder could make anything you want. A bad welder could do more harm than good.

Whether it's worth the expense is another question entirely, but not in my book. I'd live with it, or trade the boat.
