Does anyone know what happened to the Watercraft Houseboat manufacturer? They built boats in the 70's (aluminum hulls). I am sure they are out of business, but wanted to know when that happened etc.

WaterCraft like many other (About 25) manufacturers built a few boats and went bankrupt, The 1973 energy crisis doomed most of the marginal Houseboat companies.

we just missed out on a 50ft. watercraft.it was beautiful and only sold for 39,000.the only thing I didn't like about it was the 351 fords but that's a easy fix.

Some houseboat and generator manufacturers have begun working with agencies to evaluate engineering controls to reduce CO concentrations in occupied areas on houseboats. Due to the large number of houseboat manufacturers located in the Southeast US, the new and used houseboat marketplace in the Southeast is one of the most competitive and affordable areas for houseboats to be purchased in the nation.
