:rolleyes: Doggy style on a houseboat.

With that post title I am sure to get some attention! :rolleyes:

For those of you that are cruising with your four footed friends.. How do you handle their needs when on-board and not in a location or position to take a trip to shore so they can do their "business".?

We have a German Shepherd that loves to hit the water on the boat and we're looking for options...

We've thought about a bunch of possible solutions.... from putting sod on the back deck (not really) to dog training mats to teaching her how to use the marine head :-)

We're still trying to figure out a system. we've tried trays of sand, plastic "turf", and the training mats; but our small (older) dogs ignore all of them. They'd much prefer to go for a ride in the dinghy.

At least one houseboat rental outfit I know of provides trays for sod... How well they work though I don't know, we haven't tried them yet.
