    I'd be really tempted to go with plain old PAINT. Price is right, easy to clean, available in the color of your choice, doesn't usually mildew. Works for me!

    I know this is an old thread, but;
    how is that traction of that "defender" vinyl stuff. I have a curser with a gel coat deck that is just too slippery to walk on when wet. I was thinking of making removable rugs with the vinyl. But it seems it would still be slick when wet

    Vinyl might work fine if you first applied planks of insulating foam.
