    Cool Pirates Marina

    Ed,

A Looper Blog I follow called "Fulfilling Dreams" had some good pictures of Pirates Marina from their stop the other night! Thanks Dad and M/V Charvis said good things about the hospitality! Also, I read you may be spreading your wings in my neck of the woods!! I am currently at Midway Marina, next lock north in Fulton!! We usually move further north to Bay Springs come summer time.

We stayed by the Pirate for several days. Enjoyed every minute of it. Ed and his staff were absolutely wonderful especially with little things like standing at the fuel dock waiting to assist in tying up and then again at the slip. The use of their complimentary car for visits into town and shopping was a nice break for us. Ed even hooked me up with a mechanic for some minor repairs. When we head south again, we will be back to see Ed along the way.
Aside from all of that, Ed was a great guy to meet.
