Just wanted to say hello, I currently on a Canadian built 52 foot 3 buoys houseboat. I am doing restoration currently and enjoy living aboard. I am married and teenage boy live aboard as well. I have a slip currently at holly bluff will be soon moving to Daytona. Cheers from Dean captain of Ohana.

Wonderful! Welcome. Are you putting the boy to work learning a useful (?) trade? Houseboat construction-- and reconstruction-- must involve any number of worthy skills, right?

We ran the St Johns River, from Jacksonville to Deland and back a few years ago.

    Nice trip, it was.

    Stopped at Holly Bluff.

Rented a pair of Gibson's from Doc Holiday in Jacksonville.
Pulled two runabouts to fish and ski.

Took me awhile to get used to the fact that the river flows North.

I have an old buddy from Pensacola that moved there about 6 -7 years ago.

Happy Jack (Jack Hockaday) we call him.
