Hi Tod, Nice to see you on here. If I knew how, I would put up the video of you pulling your 43er out this morning with your pick em up truck.

I have been out recruiting Jamie, hopefully we will have more local members to come. Todd and his wife were our shipmates on our journey home with the Mountaineer. Actually Todd was more like my night time pilot, engineer, navigator, mechanic and partner in crimes... even after one of the lenses of his glasses ended up in the bottom of a lock chamber and he was forced to wear an improvised patch over one eye. Radar, and a 2 million candle power spot light are imperative to a one eyed river pilot in unfamiliar stretches of river. Most importantly Todd's wife Anna kept the boat tidy, and was also in charge of the galley, we would have starved at one point if it weren't for Anna's awesome tacos.

The trip turned him into a pirate. Did he get a big hat with a feather in it for the remainder of the trip?

No hat, but he was hollering "shiver me timbers". He has been known to really get into character when it comes to boating. When he had the 39' Chris Craft Stinger, he went as far to wear a pastel suite to the Italian festival and wouldn't answer to anything other than Sonny. He even set up an inflatable alligator and some flamingos.
