You can get really good stuff on Craig's List or even a used appliance store. I don't mean old just about dead stuff either, it's crazy how many people change appliances just because of colour.

The last 2 stoves I bought were for our last home about 15 years ago (a gas JennAire) and our mobile home about 3 years ago ( a gas plain-jane Maytag) -- I remember both stoves CAME with all the gas line, regulator and burner orfices needed to run either NG or LPG...
For what it's worth, our boat was built with an RV type Norcold fridge and Atwood stove..

Remember You can't just go buy a stove it has to be "MARINE" and IGNITION PROTECTED. ( sarcasm)

Right.... so an open-flame stove can be "ignition protected"????

Post was meant to be sarcastic if reference to a discussion about electrical panels and the hipocrisy of how you need all (Marine) ignition protected switches, panels, breakers, etc in the cabin of the boat but a propane or alcohol stove is OK.

after being on here for perhaps 5 years the site has taken me from how to get the chain off the buoy for our first boat, an old 58ft James Towner, rental, which we gutted and refurbished. With lots of questions on here. With answers that took an assortment of solutions.
Keep in mind the site contains a lot of solid info, and some like myself stretch our literary license, all in all you wont find a better site for the issues dealt with here.
On the stove issue sticking w/ele range, but getting a camping stove w/oven and using it on the front deck in the open, no large tanks to deal with no inside issues. Figured we can neatly handle wk end breakfast w/out going topside for the big grill. Now tell me about the new flooring
