    sewage be gone

I saw today on "This Old House" TV show, a self contained system for turning all your waste to clear water, which you can drink. The system receives all waste. Turns the solids to liquids. After passing thru a few filters the results are clear and the salesman actually drank a bottle full. This takes the place of sewer systems and septic tanks. It was all installed in the basement.
This would be a God send for boats. ( a much smaller version of course) Has anyone heard of any systems like this for boats??

I can only wonder how much it costs, and how much the filters are.

Do you really think that you would drink anything that came from that system? I could be 100% pure and 99% of the people on the face of the earth would not touch it. Anyway, it would take the regulatory agencies decades to approve it for marine use.
