OHB, Question on your 48 foot Kingscraft

    OHB,

I found a 1981 48 foot Kingscraft with Volvo Diesels for sale. Do you have any details on the Volvo Penta diesels they had in them? The current owner hasn't had much to offer in the way of details.

Ours had 160 Hp Turbo Volvos. Ran Ok but IMHO the boat was under powered. Ok for leisurely cruising if your not in a hurry. (10 mph) We cruised the Tennessee River extensively. Reliable but noisy. Parts prices will blow your mind.

The 48 single level is one of the MOST DESIRABLE of the Kings Craft line. They are a "forever boat" We lived aboard and enjoyed it only second to our Pluckybaum. I understand the only built 10. Where is this one located?
The fries are cold so we gave you extra.

    Like that big swim platform!

A single-level (in any boat) is really hard to beat, it's SOOO much easier to move around in, particularly if you're older.
She's a tired old barge but she's paid for!
