    Kohler genset parts and service

My boat has a 1971 7.5 kw Kohler genset. Does Kohler still have parts for these? My hoses are pretty rotted out. Most of them are molded and I'd love to replace them.

I emailed Kohler and they gave me the same response. "Call your dealer." Such customer service from companies these days.

The companies have an agreement with their dealers to not sell in their back yard. If you can come up with the part numbers go to Ebay.

Kohler could have said if parts are available and given contact info for a dealer near him. Like Jamie said very poor customer service. I for one will never buy anything from Kohler again. Good luck finding a dealer willing to try to find parts for the older gens. Most don't want to be bothered.

It's really the same scenario if you try calling GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, and etc about your car's issues or parts; they'll tell you to contact the stealers, I mean dealers.
