    Sad, but avoidable - he knew it was taking on water since 6/21. I am not being an ass here, but if your boat is taking on water, then it is sinking. It may be sinking slowly or quickly, but it is sinking.

    Steel pontoons, right? Were / Are they rusted anywhere? Boat looks to be in decent shape otherwise.

    It had been out of the water all winter, just went back in on the 21st of June, same day as we went back in the water. He knew it was taking on water but for some reason waited to pull it out. We only have a couple of movers here so maybe he couldn't get anyone quicker. Very sad for sure.
