Permeated hoses? Take a warm wet cloth and wipe in on your sanitation hoses. If the cloth stinks, then it is time to replace the hoses.

we have that problem on our boat if we dont use it for a while, we use river water to flush and if it stands a few days it stinks for a few flushes, so i put in a inline strainer and keep a chlorine tablet in it and it doesnt happen anymore.
We use river water too. I will give that a try. Thanks
