Pickwick to St. Louis

I was playing on my nautical route planner and planned a route from Pickwick dam up to St. Louis and was wondering if anyone had made that trip?

Though I've never had the opportunity to boat the water you are questioning I just encountered a nicely written blog with several photos that describe the area pretty well.
