I have a 7.5kw Kohler genset on my houseboat. Do I just drain it out where the stickers on it tell me and then run some antifreeze through the intake? I am fine on the engines and transmissions, but I haven't had to winterize the generator yet.

You got it. suggest you download the owners manual for your unit.
