On my Gibson's starboard bow hatch drain about half way down the line there is a "t" adapter with another line (about 1/2 in diameter) tied into the hatch drain line. I've traced the line and it follows just to the inside front starboard side of the boat and goes into the ceiling. From there I'm not sure where it goes, but I don't have anything on the roof requiring a drain. Any clues? Is it a vent line for the hatch drain (or is that even necessary as there is no "T" in the port hatch drain)? Any thought as to what it could be would be helpful.

Possibly sink drain from lower head, if you have one? Water tank over flow? Shower pump over? It wouldn't need a vent as the entry would serve as ventilation. I will see if mine has one this weekend.

My Gibson had a builtin container on the upper helm. It had a drain in it, and no line leaving it. I always thought of running a drain line from there, so I could use it as an ice chest.

Maybe you have the same type of compartment, with the drain line. Mine was on the starboard side of the upper helm.

I checked mine, sorry but it doesn't have anything coming into it.
