Am I the only one here that does not own a houseboat?
We almost did but anyway, I really like the people on here too much to leave.

Tony,
I say you can stay. I used to own a sailboat and I spent many long weekends living on it. I say if you can live on it for an extended period of time it's a houseboat.

On the flip side--- some folks say my current boat is a poor excuse for a "houseboat". They say it's nothing more than a glorified raft.

Mark, if you don't have mirror tiles on the ceiling of the master stateroom, crystal chandeliers, granite counters in the galley, and matching stemware emblazoned with the boat's name, I say be off with ye. Snort... We have standards, here. They're LOW standards, but still...
And Tony, seems like somebody who brings so much life to this quiet space should be welcome even if his boat doesn't (ahem... sniff...) pass muster. I'm here only because there doesn't seem to be a home-made shanty-boat forum.

I think the main thing is that my boat don't know it's not a houseboat.

At least the new-to-me boat won't be flying rags on the roof.
If it passes the survey and no closing problems, I will have the new avitar up on here in about 3 weeks.
