I have a friend looking for a 1957 to 1962, Johnson or Evinrude, 30 to 45 hp good running engine. This is for a restored wooden runabout. Any leads are appreciated.
The Prop Shop in Nashville tends to buy used motors or pull them off of spent boats. He then fixes them up for resale. Last I was there, he had ~12 different used outboards for sale.

I have two 1959 Gale engines which are the same as Johnson and Evinrude. Same company made all three. I have not run them in years but both were running fine at the time. I even have the original Johnson fuel tanks to go with them. tell him to make and offer. New starter for one that I had not put on.
