Is there an access to the fresh water tanks on a 1972 Nautaline 43' HB? I'd like to inspect these if possible. I haven't removed the carpet to look for any hatches yet, I thought someone might know where to start.
thanks in advance.

There is no access to the tanks unless you rip up the floor. there are 2 tanks on either side of the center line. i have done this on my fathers nautaline and had S/S water tanks made to fit. if you are going to be laying new carpet then now is the time, but if you aren't and all you want to do is inspect them then i would hold off on it. If you wonder if they leak then get the bildge good and dry and fill the tanks full. If the tanks leak you will have water in the rear bilge in between the center stringer.
Good Luck
