I need to find two switches to control the forward to neutral to backward with 5-wire plug-in.  This is for the electric shifter for the outdrive.

first off,

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

Hate to be negative, but while these are still avialable from a VERY few long-time- in-business dealers as "New Old Stock" they are going to take a huge bite out of your summers boat fund!! What ever suggested retail was at time of discontinuence, dealers add 10% (or more) yearly as hedge for inflation and interest on borrowed money they operate on.

I had been using On/Off/On switch mounted in dash for couple years, using original shifter as throttle only.(Really works very well, once you practice, just don't flip switch while above idle:brokenheart When we put boat on market, knowing it would have to be surveyed because of age I felt this bit of "engineering" would get bad marks and require replacement before sale could be completed . Did Goodle search and finally found two dealers with part in stock. One asked OVER $300. for one (1) switch!!!! Made me feel priviledged to finally buy one for $195.00!! Thats been a while back and I left invoice on board as reference for buyer, but if you're still interested I'll see if I can find out who it was.

Best,

Bob

Thanks for the info.   My son is an electrical engineer and we already talked about rigging it but thought I'd try to find a replacement first.  I think he can put together something that will pass muster.
