I just recently purchased this 12 volt misting system for my
houseboat. I was actually surprised by how good the mist was- 150
psi and it only draws one amp. My wife enjoys it because she can
keep cool up on the top deck without having to jump into the water.
I was contemplating hard lining it into an onboard water source and
didn't know if anyone else had purchased one or attempted this?? If
so could you please give me some tips??

We just stay inside and run the AC when it get that hot, but you sun worshipers might benefit from something like that. I am not sure I would tie into my drinking water source though.

I agree. Before tying in to the fresh water system, I'd look into a separate tank (under flybridge perhaps) and pump from that. That tank could be filled from the dock or from a washdown pump and eliminate the need for a lot of plumbing issues.

If water usage is not an issue use the potable system as a supply. Misters will work for about 10 minutes and then be stopped up if you use Lake Water.

Judge,
They make a mister for you AC condenser too))).
