First of all,Hi to everyone.I just bought a 1998 Gibson 37 Sport and am trying to learn all the systems.Have owned many boats but this is my first houseboat. My problem is that when I drove it,I drove it from the upper helm and when I tried to use the wheel it seemed like it did nothing.Needless to say I used the engines and the Tranny to get her in the slip. When I tested the upper wheel,I could turn it till the cows come home in either direction. Is this normal?Should it not come to a stop when I reach the limits of the rudder? The lower one stops.(Also,BTW,can you tell me how to post so that when I enter a letter,it doent echo 3 times on this site?)Thanks to everyone......
