Hello the list. I have finally gotten into attepting to get the motors running on my 69 Riverqueen. I have 2 318 Chrysler engines, identical in appearance, but when the plugs came out, one had a short thread plug, the other had a long thread. other than mis match, does anyone have an idea about why this might be the case? Thanks in advance.

Yep, it's called, what ya got at the moment, more than likely. Old boats seem to be more suseptable to this than newer ones. Go figure.

That is one fine engine, I had several 318's in vehicles throughtout the years. Very durable. Never one in a boat.

I sure did dog those engines and never did blow one. Wore the rest of the vehicles out, but never the engines.

The replacement plugs can be found out any auto parts store.

Gooooo MOPAR !!
