we have pursan unit attached to our raritan commode..........(sorry spelling)
the commode flushes goes through the purasan unit and into our holding tank presently.
trying to clean out the extra canisters and tubing in the bathroom. from the front of our commode there is a clear plastic line, also there is a canister on the wall and a plastic tank on the side of the commode with clear plastic tubing running from or to the canister.............anyway the question
When I removed the tubing line from the fitting on the front of the commode water being flowing out of the fitting where the plastic line was removed,,,,,,,,,can I seal this off without creating a vacuum or slow down the flusing cabibilites of the unit ...
some will want to explain to me I no longer need the purasan unit and I will do away with it at a later date just have so much to tackle right now, its not a space issue or a power source issue and as I understand it it just refines my sewage a little more b4 going into the holding tank

The tank is a chemical tank to treat the flush water. You can
seal the nipple off and it shouldn't affect the draw of the toilet.

the nipple im refering to that has a stream of water coming out it, is located ont he very front of the commode, as I recall a round plate bolted tot he front of the commode on the side is the plastic tank............
would the canister I removed from the wall be of any use or do i just toss it.

The cannister you removed from the wall is part of the PureSan system. The PuraSan system is highly thought of as it eleminates the holding tank unless you are in a no discharge area. If you have a complete system and don't want it sell it on ebay.

That is where the Purasan dispenser drains into the toilet. The water from the toilet comes running out when you remove it. What I would do, is to cut it off an inch or two from the round front cover on the toilet, and jam a golf tee into each cut end, to seal the two ends. The toilet will still flush properly, and you're not using the Purasan anyway. If there is a second clear tube going to the Purasan dispenser, remove it and plug it off, too.

I have the exact same set-up.
A couple years ago I had to replace the lower unit with a rebuilt
one from Raritan. I kept my cover plate, and sent the newer
one back with the core.
If you don't like the other, (good ideas) and you want it to look
clean, call Raritan. I am sure you can get a new cover plate
pretty cheap.

head master R U referring to that round cover plate possible 4-6 screws in it with the nipple for the plus 30$..........and they tell you to watch a car salesman....
we dont stand a chance do we............I think mine is neatly pluged well enough,
I was more concerned about it creating a malfunction in the flushing process, all is working good
