To tint lake water flush water blue. Buy one of those white deodorant flush thinges that hook on your toilet bowl. When the deodorant finally washes away get the blue disk type that is put in a household toilet tank. Wrap it in a small piece of onion sack or nylon nettting, hook it on the old deodorant hook, and there you go. A blue water toilet flush every time, it lasts forever too. It seems cleaner even if it isn't. It dosen't take much to make me happy!

Not a particularly good idea, because chemicals in household toilet bowl cleaners are highly damaging to the rubber parts in marine toilets and also to sanitation hose...reducing its resistance to odor permeation.

Household bowl cleaners, bleach and/or products that contain bleach, pine oil cleaners,  petroleum and/or products that contain petroleum based solvents should never be used in marine toilets and sanitation systems.

I think that blue water is just caused by a solution you add on the water container where flush water is held. I think that they are good to eliminate odor but if you are a bit OC with your stuff, I would not suggest this one as there are brand which leaves the blue mark on the toilet which could get really annoying if you want to keep everything squeaky clean. There are a lot that promises never to leave marks but only time will tell. There are toilet cleaners but I do not think you would still be too happy with that
