After having the good fortune of buying my second used boat with Vacu-Flush heads I've got to comment on what a great system these seem to be.

Absolute minimum flush water usage. Really is less than a quart for an all liquid flush!

Low noise level.

While we try to educate our guests about what's ok to flush, these things seem able to eat just about anything.

Head and vacuum pump both easily repaired/rebuilt with excellent factory parts availability.

If I were commissioning a new boat of any kind with facilities, there wouldn't be any question of what it would be equipped with.

Is this the same technology they use in airbuses to flush the toilet? If this is the same, then I think this is rather a great invention. I have some problems though with solid waste as to how they will be expelled if you do not get them to settle at the bottom part of the toilet where the suction is most targeted to. Though I have not tried it yet so I could not generalize if that would indeed be a problem or it would just be me.

What brand are these toilets? Never heard nor seen them in a houseboat. Cruise ships have VERY high suction toilets and they are amazing. If youre sitting on them Id say youd have some issues if you flushed them!
