I would like to replace the head and purasan in my 78 Nautaline 43'. Where does the freshwater come from? Is it from a seacock, freshwater tank or dock water? I turned off the dock pressurized water but was still able to flush several times so I guess it comes from somewhere else. Thanks!

From the lake. What is your reason for the change? The PuraSan is the gold standard for treatment devices.

I misworded that- I'm replacing an old head and Lectra-san with a new electric head and purasan. So I needed to know if the water line is pressurized or not. Thanks for the info!

If your going new consider a unit that uses pressure water from your boat supply. (they are available either way) These units are much quieter. NOTE: They require that your water supply pump is 3.8 GPM minimum.

My old 43 nautaline and my fathers draws its water from a sea cock located below the floor acessed by a lift out floor panel. the panel is located outside the head to the left of the door to the head.

Millertyme is right..most 43 Nautaline's toilet intake is under a lift out panel in the floor of the small closet that has the seat on top. Rather than hooking a new installation to fresh water system, you could always hook up a fresh water pump from that same intake valve to the toilet. No boat holds enough fresh water as it is for a long weekend or extended voyage!

Thanks for the tips! I'll look into it. Hopefully, the access holes have not been covered up!
