I don't have any issues with the steering or controls cables on the main deck on my old houseboat, but the flybridge controls seem very stiff. Should I disconnect and lubricate them somehow? I know it's regular maintenence on a motorcycle but these cables have a lot longer reach and I'm not sure how much work is involved. I would appreciate any insights before I start the job.
Thanks.

Thanks for the pointer to the thread. My search didn't produce any results and now I have something I can try tonight. I will post the results.
