Kelly was an early builder of steel houseboats that were unique. Very nice looking units for their time. There was one in Florence Alabama for years with Chrysler slant sixes.
If you buy it, do it with the idea you will be the last owner and it will probably have little, no, or negative value at the end of your ownership. If it clangs your chime go for it

I sold the kelly that was in Florence, is a very well built boat and has a lot of appeal. I as stated in other posts would only go to salt with a steel houseboat if the whole inside of the hull was paited with underwater primer. It had a slant six with stright drive and a flanking rudder in addition to the regular rudder. The Kelly will sell as I have 3 people looking for one after they saw the Florence boat. They were the top of the line in their day.
