I have many new, never installed, factory
manufactured fiberglass parts.
1) Hatch lids for barracuda 12' wide 1989 and newer
models only.port and starboard both, white in color, but I
can match most almond colors that HM produced.
2) Hatch lids for 14' wide models.
3) Swim platform for 12' W models, w/o brackets, but can obtain
these, special order only.
4) Front bow seat, all models.
May possibly be able to produce some fly bridges.

Not fiberglass but what about the fixed (non sliding) portion of the port side window in the rear stateroom on a 1988 38 ft aft cabin?

I am familar with the older HM construction and parts.
Currently working on a factory refit on a '84 model coastal
barracuda, I believe the window design is much the same as yours.
Does your windows have the aluminum frames that screw
together from the inside only? I believe they are but am not
100% positive. I am not aware of any replacement glass for
these style windows. The current HM's use the same
design.
I am aware of 2 suppliers for a complete new window assembly, which
would include the outside glass, slider, screens, and SS screws.
With your HIN I can research the build sheet for your boat
which would lead me to a blueprint of this in the old files that
are available to me, then the glass company can quote the window.
Or you can measure the rough opening including the degree of
slope, radiuses of corners, size of sliders, and thickness of
wall.
These measurements would have to be precise or the new window
wouldn't fit the hole you already have in your cabin, of
course. Either way I could get you a quote on the Assembly.

There are a few different style flybridges that will fit your boat.
Do you want a bridge similar to what a '83 model would have
been equipped with from the factory? What color? The
most common for this model boat consist of a center mounted helm
with seats roughly 4 ft. long on each side. They may be more like 3
ft. The flybridge would probably seat 4 or 5 people
comfortably. Do you want the bare bridge or do you want the
Windshield, rails, cushions, and/or controls included? This
bridge is less than 8' wide so it can easily be transported on a
small utility trailer. I'll measure it tomorrow, and see what
others bridges are available.

I would lake a standard Fly bridge my HM is almond is color , I
would like to put the back to back seating in the fly bridge area ,
So the center console would work fine with a wind shield.. The
control's would be added at a later date .

Holidayboatbuilder...do you by any chance have the fiberglass panels for making a "party top" for a Sumerset? I am thinking about adding one 15-16 wide approx 18 ft in length.

So you would like a price on a almond flybridge with windshields?
I can tell you the windshield made out of 1/4" black tinted
plexiglass is $475.00 for both halves. Would you
consider a smaller white flybridge with no seating area that is
already produced? Which would be cheaper, of
course. The color could be changed on this one also, or
you could save some money and do that yourself.
Here is a picture of the standard flybridge. the
bridge overall is 10' in length and 8' in width. The seats on
the sides are a little longer than 4', I measured this today and
found the other bridge in storage. If you would like I can
photo and measure it, if your interested
that is.

I need to check some sizes, and availability, what kind on support
do you have in mind for this? Can it be multiple
pieces, As most are? Is weight an issue? Plans for
installation? crane, fork lift etc?

HBB,
Local glass guy looked at it yesterday and he can cut and install my window for $124 plus tax. So he is proceeding. Thanks for your help.

HBB, I was looking at the standard type party top installation that Stardust/Sumerset has using the aluminum poles for support. The panels i have seen were in 6' segments the width of the boat. My preference would be to find someone that would install the whole thing reasonably. I'd go for a canvas one if it was a deal, but would prefer something I would never have to replace again.

Thank you so much for the link! All I have to do now is convince the wife that the party top is more important than Christmas and a vacation!

No, I do not believe it is more important.
But the new party top/upper helm could substitute for
YOUR
Christmas present.
Then you could spend YOURS and
HER Vacation on top of the Houseboat.
It is more fun to ride and operate on top, than inside.
Go for it, how many times will you live your life?
I believe once.

We have an early 70' stardust cruiser. We are looking for a
flybridge. Appx 8 X10, preferably complete. However,
would consider the fiberglass frame only. Please send pics of
any you have available to bugsbunnie@mchsi.com
thanks

We just added a party top to our 2003 63' X 16' Sunstar. It
is not a hard top and is not canvas. It is a material called
Ferrari Top. We are on Dale Hollow lake,TN and they delivered
and installed it as well. It was 16' X 20' and it sure makes
a difference. The Ferrari Top is white which makes it about
30 degrees cooler than a Black or Navy canvas top. We also
had shade screens mad up for the sides and provisions on the
framework for two ceiling fans. We got it done by Phillip
Russell at PCR Restorations/Lehr Awnings. Their telephone
number is 419-747-7633. They really did a professional job
and if I remember it was less than $5000 delivered and installed
with all the extras.
Phillip has a houseboat on Lake Cumberland and has made quite a few
party tops. Tell him you were referred by Jim clark the guy
with the Ferrari Top on Dale Hollow and he will treat you
right.
