Good Luck 99% of Gibsons are gas. You need to look at Pluckebaum.

A Pluckebaum is way out of my reach, financially.
We are considering a 50' Gibson Standard that can be repowered with diesels. anyone know of a good, CHEAP 50' gibson standard?
thanks!

Current motors can be running or not...........

How about a 1981 57 foot Carlcraft with twin detroits? Its mostly restored. Very rare and nice They want 72000k for it. Let me know if you want to pursue it.
Thanks

If the 57 Carl Craft is the one I'm thinking of, it's absolutely gorgeous.  Hardwood floors, all new woodwork, cabinet, counter tops, leather furniture, etc..  I've had my eye on that one myself.  I'd love to see the outside of it.

The one I was speaking of, is in Tennessee, the one Brokerdave is taking about, is gorgeous as well, light yellow and white.  Brokerdave, get them to take more picture's, 3-4 doesn't get it.

I'm going to go get more myself. The day I went  I only got a pic of the engines due to the fact I was out all day taking pics of boats and only had one shot left in the camera. The color is actually White (which is now cream color respectively after so many years) with medium or dark brown trim and flecks on the decks. I wish that wasnt the case because it dates it, but that can be overcome. Other than that it has some real appeal. I like it alot. You dont see many of those anymore- period let alone one with twin 477 detroits. I never looked at the genset..
