I'm parting with my two Kohler 6.5kw generators along with a box full of new parts. Plugs and caps also new. Both engines I believe have scale buildup inside the block. Both run perfectly and make 120 vac until the engine overheats and shuts down. Takes about 7-10 minutes. These also have the relays that let you turn on any 120v light switch or appliance and will start the generator to full fill the task. Turn the light off and the generator shuts down also. The buyer is entitled to have a new exhaust elbow installed by Kohler under a standing recall notice. These engines, wiring, control box are clean and have not been chopped up by some 16 year old kid with a screwdriver. A acid flush of the block could solve the over heating problem. The first 500.00 takes it plus shipping. I will crated and load them. I also think I have the front belt covers and the water exhaust mufflers and hoses I will throw in for no charge.
