We "inherited" by way of dive salvage a 1983 Coastal Baracuda HM. It isn't as bad as it sounds. The boat is in pretty good shape. We would like to redo the interior. I believe it has the original paneling on the walls.

What should we use for wall material? I'm guessing a textured wall board in white or pastel to brighten up the interior.

Has anyone redecorated the interior walls?

Also, the refrig needs to be replaced.  Do we need to special order one or will an "apartment size" off the shelf work?

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

How much of this boat was submerged and for what length of time?

I would install the largest refrigerator possible. It should be one that runs off DC and AC power.

I remodled the inteior of mine with new carpet and painted the panelining about the lower 1/3 of the walls an off white and re finishe the upper 2/3. that helped a lot with lightening the interior. I also used a apartment size refegerator that I picked up at home depot an it worked well.
