I am planning on getting a 38' + or - HM houseboat. Most do not come with trailers, but I would like one. So I am looking for plans for one so that I can get bids from my local welding shop.

I don't have plans for a trailer. But I have a blocking diagram for a 1988 38' aft cabin model if that would help you.

It is a drawing of the bulkhead locations which are the only places that you should support the boat.

Shure, it sounds like they will help. What form are they in? do you need a fax #, or email, or snail mail?

I'm getting tired of faxing HM factor trailer plans, is there a way of posting them on this site. A bet I've faxed 20 sets. Can someone figure out a way of providing a link with pictures of trailers built and the factory plans. I know of several trailers have been built for pictures.

We need a link!!!!!

I would also greatly appreciate a trailer plan fax, I think I have contacted you via email in the past and you asked for my fax #. I never got the fax, so I don't know if I had it set up wrong or what. I know that it is working now so if you could try again I would appreciate it. The lack of a trailer is the only thing stopping me from getting a boat now. I need it to be mobile. My fax is 928 527 4357 thank you.

Alex,

If you want a 38 ft HM to be mobile, I hope you have a Kenworth or equal.

Joe

Sending email with trailer pictures. Sending plans to you by US Mail. Cost? Please figure out figure out how to post plans and pictures for others.

As for Kenworth, not needed. Just 4x4 1/2 ton or bigger for yard service or 3/4 or bigger with 250hp to road at 60 mph. 1996 Chevy 454 290 hp with 4.56 gears will pull it 70mph @wot. John Platou
