Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a houseboat in this size range. I'd really like to find a 42 or 44' Gibson with the Classic layout, late 90's - early 2000's. There are a ton of them out there I know, but here's the kicker - I have to have IO's, not V Drives. We boat in very shallow water with lots of sandbars. Our current boat has V Drives and it's a pain to anchor in the shallow water without dragging the props through the sand.

I like the Gibson in this size range because it has two separate sleeping areas so we can give our two kids their own quarters. And the boat isn't huge so it should be somewhat easy to handle. I've looked at the Holiday Mansions but unless you're lucky enough to find one with the aft cabin there's only one sleeping area.

I'm located in MA but am willing to travel to view the right boat, and can arrange transportation within 1,000 miles of 01090.

Lemme know if you have or have seen anything that fits this criteria.

Thanks,
Steve

My wife has been on me to get a bimini for the top of our houseboat (our baby girl is going to neeed some shade). By chance does anyone have the bimini top rails available that would fit a 36x12 Gibson? I can redo the canvas so the canvas condition doesn't matter....... I'm more interested in the hardware/rails.
