For a pleasure cruise or a year-round lifestyle, from the moment you board a Pluckebaum you are in command of one of the finest houseboats. The Kentucky manufacturer traces back to 1932 when founder Arthur Pluckebaum built his first boat. In 1946 Arthur built the first Pluckebaum houseboat. Sadly he passed away this year at the age of 96.
Today, son Dennis Pluckebaum is in charge and continues his father’s tradition. While many boats are being constructed of wood, steel and fiberglass, Pluckebaum crafts their coastal cruisers and motor yachts of its unique all-aluminum hull structure. The quality of construction is second to none and Pluckebaum has been a proven name in the custom boat business for the last 60 years.
