Twin Anchors Marine is gaining more traction than ever and it has been owned and operated by the same family since 1977. Prior to the turndown in the houseboat market, Twin Anchors began building relocatable buildings for oil and gas exploration companies and the mining industry. The demand for these Relocatable Workforce Solutions declined mid-year due to falling oil prices. Twin Anchors reacted again and wisely added Modular Housing and Park Models to their model mix, thus being able to retain all key personnel.

The houseboat business started to improve in 2015 for Twin Anchors, with even livelier boat interest looking towards 2016. A new customer, Emerald Cove Marina, is having its first new rental houseboats in several years delivered to Bullard’s Bar in the spring of 2016.

All Twin Anchors boats feature their exclusive unitized cabin and bridge, their engineered bridgedeck truss system and no bearing interior walls, thus allowing for cathedral ceilings and total freedom with floorplan design.
